Who we are

Quint develops fault-tolerant superconducting quantum computers designed for high-speed operations with breakthrough error correction efficiency. Quantum devices need to be able to handle unavoidable errors fast, repeatedly, in real-time, and with manageable resource overhead to enable industrial applications. Our team combines entrepreneurial momentum with decades of cutting-edge R&D experience to unlock quantum computing's global impact.

The roles

We are looking for exceptional talents in the following areas:

  • quantum chip design & modelling
  • device fabrication
  • microwave & cryogenic engineering
  • quantum measurement & control
  • quantum error correction
  • quantum applications

If you want to build breakthrough technology with disruptive impact in an agile environment, we want to hear from you. We hire at junior, senior and lead level, as well as researcher positions jointly with FAU Erlangen.

You should apply if you

  • hold a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science or a related field, from MSc to PhD.
  • bring hands-on experience in at least one of the areas above, from academia, industry or both.
  • are comfortable using Python or a similar language for simulation, data analysis or automation.
Don't tick every box? Apply anyway. We want to innovate and are a fast-moving, learning startup, so skills will develop too. If you bring something to the table that makes us better convince us and take our team to the next level.

What we offer

  • A real mission: Help build the technology that makes fast, efficient error correction possible to start fault-tolerant quantum computing.
  • Responsibility from day one: As one of our early hires, your work will shape our prototypes, our roadmap and our team.
  • World-class team: Work with our founders, Prof. Dr. Christopher Eichler and Prof. Dr. Michael Hartmann, and a science-driven team of outstanding talents spanning theory, design, fabrication and experiment.
  • Room to grow: A role that fits your experience today, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as we grow.
  • Competitive compensation
  • Relocation support
  • A great place to live and work: Our labs in Erlangen offer outstanding opportunities to develop, build and test new quantum hardware. Erlangen itself is a lively university city in the Nuremberg metropolitan region, with a strong research community and beautiful nature nearby.
